You have probably never heard of it. Most people haven't, but if you were living in Ancient Africa you would trade for this oil in GOLD! Dattier du Desert Oil, one of earliest used beauty oils in ancient Africa, was also one of the most treasured. Its amazing ability to regenerate and replenish aging skin, cuts and scarring made the oil the most favored by those who could afford it. The wealthy of ancient Egypt relished this precious oil using it to replenish skin parched by the desert sun and wind, regenerate skin due to burns and cuts, reduce scarring, and to even strengthen hair. Just one application of Dattier du Desert Oil results in noticebly moister and plumper looking skin.
The dattier du desert tree grows in harsh climates and desert soils where little else grows providing amazing relief in form of both skin protection and nourishment. Shea Terra Organics' Dattier du Desert Oil is flown in from Senegal where production of this precious oil provides much needed income to indigenous individuals who collect the seeds from the edible fruit and sell them to the mill. Dattier du Desert Oil not only makes skin beautiful, it is a sustainable and ecologically safe product.

Addicted to this product!
I never used an oil before on my face. It seemed counter productive since nobody wants an oily face! My face tends to dry out easily and winters are brutal. I discovered this and am now hooked. I only have to use one to two pumps (if my skin is extra dry) in the morning. Initially, it does go on a little oily but it is quickly absorbed into my face and keeps it moisturized all day. Most days I use this in addition to the Argan & Desert Date Ultra Moisturizing Face Cream. My skin looks great!

If I could only choose one beauty product to use for the rest of my life it would be Date oil I have used it for two years now and my skin (face) just loves it. When I run out it is a sad situation but it doesn't take long for my skin to bounce back when I get it again. It is not heavy but it is very moisturizing then any other cream, oil, etc that I have tried. It is truly the best! I even use it on my kids and they love it. Leaves the skin feeling very supple and rejuvenated.

Lovely oil
Dattier du desert oil is my favorite oil I've tried from Shea Terra so far. It's a little richer and silkier than argon or morula oil. I'm very happy with my purchase. I have dry sensitive skin and this feels great on my face and neck.

Great hydration for thirsty skin!
Having combination skin I often have difficulty finding an oil that doesn't feel heavy on my skin after applying. This oil absorbs well, leaving my skin silky smooth. I love to apply it after using one of Shea Terra's facial masks. Seems to balance my skin.

Absorbs well. Nice smell. Use it in the morning and can go with just powder and blush. No longer have to layer on moisturizers and foundations. My skin can breathe. It is wonderful!

Dat good
I have been using oils on my face for about 5 years now and I like the Dattier du desert oil as it absorbs very nicely into my skin. I don't have to wait long to put on my makeup. Good oil

lovely feeling rich oil
I'm 54, almost 55, and have wrinkles, some sun damage and some age spots. I still have combination skin and love how the Desert Oil goes on smoothly and absorbs quickly leaving my skin feeling smooth and not greasy. I use it on my neck, the back of my hands, around my eyes and lips, anywhere I feel like I need a little extra something. By the way, I often get mistaken for being quite younger.
