What you get is an emollient bar that helps soothe and comfort your skin while you wash without leaving a yucky film.     HOW TO USE
Get super fresh skin without the dry, itchiness that accompanies most soap bars. Commercially manufactured soap bars, even those that claim to be all natural, are often made with irritating chemicals and allergy irritating synthetic fragrance. In order to make a cheap bar that bubbles well they are often made with a high coconut content. Coconut is a drying oil. The combination of large amounts of coconut oil, fragrance and poor quality oils creates soap that is harsh on skin. Our soap is made using only all natural scents and the highest quality of virgin olive oil, virgin coconut butter and 33% shea butter. This emollient combination makes a soap which is gentle on the skin and helps leave the skin feeling soft, not stripped.

Commercially made soap, whether natural or not, is usually made from premade soap pellets coming from countries like India. Big companies tell the manufacturer what they want to add as far as color and fragrance. A die is made and the pellets are pressed into perfect shaped bars and stamped with logos. Some of these soaps are pretty nice. However, the natural glycerin in the soap is usually extracted to sell because glycerin can be resold for a good amount of money. Taking the natural glycerin out of soap produces a harsh soap that dries out the skin. And despite these soaps being called shea butter soap, very little natural shea butter is actually in the soap. We insist that in order to produce a superior soap for our customers we must handmake it in our factory the old fashioned way. The result is a superior soap that cleans while nurturing the body's mantle.

Rather than replacing human labor with machines we employ and train people to make our moisture rich soap bars. Hiring people over machines has always been a priority for Shea Terra Organics. As machines and computers take over our daily lives more and more people are finding themselves without work. This system will eventually backlash as fewer and fewer people will have the money to purchase the goods the machines are making. Purchasing handmade soap is an important way to support soap makers who in turn use your money to support their families.

All soap except for herbal black soap contains this. Some companies deceptively leave this ingredient off their label)

BESSST!

I purchased Sheaterra Superfat soap from the company website.
This is one of the BESSST soaps I have tried!
The soap arrived undamaged and packaged well.
It lathers well and seems to be very soothing to skin.
This soap smells like citronella bug candles which reminds me of summer nights.

Perfect Soap for the Feet in my case, which is why it deserves a 5 stars!

for my body, it dried it properly. I then began using this soap for my feet, and I realized omg! The callous ran away in a second coupled with minimal mechanical scrubbing!!! All those years of trying to find a good foot soap, and here it is. but for the body, omg it felt like I was washing it with salt! It dried it, so I stopped using immediately. I also bought the frankincense version so will post a review on that when I use it, though I suspect they are more or less the same ingredients.

Sample bar changed my mind on bar soap

I would never have thought I would switch back to bar soap again. I have tried other limited ingredient, handmade soaps and not found them any different than my liquid body wash in efficacy...and therefore not worth the extra mess. This bar was our body wash on a week long trip in the SW desert climate of Idaho as it was small and easier portability without concern for leaking. We normally have serious dry skin issues when visiting family here. This bar not only prevented that, our skin became softer and in areas it has thinned with being over 40 now, plumped up a little. I was wowed. No it does not suds much. We still felt very clean, even after getting covered in dirt and dust walking a hot, desert trail. The scent is light and pleasing and I had no trouble using my double-edge razor blade to shave my legs using only this bar soap. I am a convert. These bars may be pricy, but they are well worth it. The sliver sample lasted us over two weeks of daily, double use with two grown adults and me using it to shave as well. I am certain a full bar lasts a while based on this.
