One of the wonders of the ancient world, the calendula plant has been the go to plant to help heal skin affected by conditions ranging from eczema to mosquito bites. Calendula gets its soothing and regenerative powers from its high level of triterpenoid and calendic acid. The flower offers anti-spasmodic and anti-inflammatory properties. Calendula has been used for thousands of years to help calm as well as repair skin. Our rare calendula oil is pressed directly from the seeds and flowers. When you find "calendula oil" it is actually a maceration of the flowers in a base oil such as olive or almond. Sometimes the fact that a base oil is used is not stated on the label as producing a pure calendula seed oil is costly. 

For this rare and precious oil, I traveled to the Nile fed region of Egypt where fields of calendula plants grow to their prime in the basking Sahara Desert. The deep orange blossoms glow in contrast to the nutrient rich black silt soil created thousands, perhaps billions of years ago by the Nile River. One can travel for hours through nothing but sandy barren quarters of the Sahara to be greeted with flowing fields of calendula, chamomile, black seed and every imaginable green herbage. Observing the immensely fruitful fields of bright orange calendula in ancient fields of silt I had no doubt that I had found the source to create the most potent calendula oil possible.

I love this for calming my eczema! It seems to help more than anything else I've tried other than prescription meds.

Amazing miracle worker

I received a sample of this oil with my previous order and loved it so much that I had to order a full size bottle! I have been dealing with a skin disorder that developed after I was diagnosed with Covid a year ago, and nothing has helped since, not even prescription medication. This oil has begun to heal my skin! I use it every night over the Ghana Gold Shea Butter and I wake up with soft, smooth, nourished skin! The oil and Shea butter combo does not cause my skin to break out either. I have normal skin.

Luxurious Oul!!

Aloha every one! 🌺🌺🌺🌺I had 2 mix this oil w/ another for faster application & wow! There’s a deep silky-ness to calendulas texture! I know it’s the calendula because the other oil (fractionated coconut oil) doesn’t feel like that lol it had me taking my time & caressing it in🥰🥰🥰when usually II apply quickly. It was my very first use so I can’t express the rest of its benefits but my skin feels great after the hard water & dry air vegas has. Really is bad for my skin. I usually have to reapply oil/lotion to spots that start to feel itchy/dry & I haven’t! Very impressed & happy about that!! This one is a keeper!! Aloha nui loa 🌺🌺🌺🌺

Best Calendula Formulation

The Calendula Oil from Shea Terra is some of the finest I have ever used. I am a grower and formulator of my own Calendula petal oil and salve and while I have good products...I can't come close to the quality of this one. I am extremely sensitive to products and I even use this oil on my privates without any irritation....just plain healing!! I am so thrilled that a client turned me on to your site...I am obsessed :)
