Did you know that the ancient Egyptians were discovered to have dyed their skin, hair and nails? The leaf powder was even used to break fevers when applied to the heels. Our customers, true henna aficionados, tell us that Shea Terra's Egyptian Henna Powder is the strongest henna powder they have ever used. The stain is fast and a very deep orangey/red color that can be altered with the use of strong tea, coffee, hibiscus and other herbs to alter the final color. Browns and reds can be achieved with the base of this strong, genuine Egyptian Henna Powder. Twigs and and other debris are often found mixed in with henna from countries such as India decreasing the strength of the stain. Our henna powder is ground from freshly dried leaves and flown into our factory to preserve quality.

Egyptian Henna Powder can replace toxic dyes used for most hair treatments. Salon workers themselves have complained about how these dyes have affected their health over the years of applying them on their customers. Egyptian Henna Powder is not only a natural way to get beautiful color, but it also helps to strengthen hair and improve hair growth. Egyptian Henna Powder can also be used to create amazing henna art designs on skin. Unlike many prepared (or even boxed powder) hennas, our Egyptian Henna Powder contains absolutely no dye.

Contains only: 100% Pure Egyptian Henna Powder
Add a few spoons to water or rose hydrosol to form a semi-liquid paste. How much you will need depends on hair thickness and length. It is suggested to allow liquid to set for a half hour. Apply henna to wet hair. Massage into scalp. The longer you allow the henna to set on hair the deeper the stain. It is suggested to mist hair from time to time to keep the henna moist. Rinse out thoroughly. Many resources site not shampooing hair for a few days to intensify the stain. We recommend using our Moroccan Lava Clay Shampoo Bar after a day or two.
