Despite infringement on their territories and ways of life, the Himba have managed to preserve their desert dwelling culture. You might know them from their pictures of bare topped women covered in red ocre and fat. They live in small stick huts in the extreme conditions of the Namib Desert. Truly resourceful, they have been collecting the myrrh of this tree for their powdered perfume blends for centuries. A coalition of projects came together to get stills for the local women to turn their myrrh into an essential oil in order to help preserve their way of life. Himba Myrrh is much lighter than the musky aroma of more popular myrrh oils. This is a must have for aromatherapy enthusiasts. Read How to Use for ideas for usage.

Delicious

I always forget I put this on and I will keep feeling good and loving a scent wondering what it is. Then I remember it is this essential oil. Soo lovely!
