Madagascar Saro Essential Oil (Certified Organic)

I like that Shea Terra Madagascar Saro is certified organic. It has a slight floral scent which I like. I was totally in the dark about Organic Saro EO. Please do your research and then add This Organic Saro to your EO stash. Very good price.

This works miracles on the skin. I've used it to treat a skin rash and an allergic reaction to a bandage. So I make sure to always have some on hand. This is a wonderful product.

I prefer the Saro over tea tree oil. My experience with essential oils is minimal but I am loving this one.

It works. Keep skin looking younger.

I bought this to treat nail fungus and it started working on day 1. I highly recommend this product if your nails need that kind of help.

It's an excellent oil; I prefer it over Thieves oil.

First, it has a bit of an astringent like smell. Think tea tree, vapo rub and the likes. This should give you an idea of the general fragrance although I'll say this saro oil has more of a clean-fresh, slightly more herbaceous-like smell than something more artificial such as the vapo rub things. I like it at certain times, in lower concentrations, my husband not so much. And, in my experience it's a strong scent. In using it at my home, this is what happened. And, please. I am NOT making any kind of claims about what this can do, I am NOT saying anything medicinal about it, I am simply relating my experience, and I am not remotely indicating that anything like this will or could happen when/if you use it, or even that anything actually did happen because of my using it. Just that I got the flu in the winter of 2019-20 It was a funky, weird kind of flu, tight lungs, long duration and slow moving, but not as intense as the regular flu, then my husband got it. His was much worse than mine and with his came a horrible cough. He was treated for pneumonia and his coughing was literally out of control, then he had to go back for a different type of antibiotic and extra cough medicines because he coughed so bad he was suffering from sleep deprivation to the point of it affecting his mental functions, and his first medications were not good enough to kick it out. He was not able to recline in the least manner or his coughing became virtually uncontrollable. It was a scary and unsettling time. We were just before having to admit him to the hospital for inpatient treatment. I had just happened to have gotten some saro oil to fill out an order in order to get free shipping. While he was at this worst coughing, when it had peaked, and me having just received the saro oil, I tried it in the bedroom diffuser. I put a heavy dose in the diffuser. Quite a few drops but I can't remember how much now. He did not like the smell, not at all, and he complained of it being intense and bothersome. So, I moved it from his room but I kept it going in the house in another area where it kind of kept the fragrance more uniformly dispersed all through the house, including his room but less intense. It continued to diffuse until the diffuser ran dry about 2-3 am the next morning. The next morning he had less coughing and he had slept several hours during the night not coughing non-stop. I did it for a second night, over his complaints that he didn't like the smell. By the second morning his coughing had subsided to the point that he was, from that point on, able to sleep mostly through the night without opoiod cough suppressants. He seemed to be getting back to normal. I will say he was on several strong medications for pneumonia and coughing and I know they helped him survive. I'm just saying that while I used the saro oil, for whatever reason or for no reason at all, I am not making any claims, but his cough definitely became permanently better during the time I used the oil. Coincidence? For the sake of this public review I will say yes, of course it was a coincidence! I do NOT claim this oil had anything to do with his recovery. As for me, I'll be keeping saro it on hand from now on. My husband doesn't care for the smell, but I think, if it's used in a much lower concentration than I used, and in a larger, more open room, it definitely gives a feeling and impression of fresh, clean, crisp air. A good thing. I don't care if it has any other properties than that clean smell and I'm certainly not claiming that it does. It's just a clean smell when use with a light touch, in my opinion.
