    HOW TO USE

Ancient Egyptians coveted the black seed as a cure for nearly everything. Warm oil was put on the eyes to get rid of the styles. Oil was applied to keep the skin moist, increase elasticity, and treat eczema, burns, and rashes. The oil was consumed as a daily tonic to boost the immune system, increase oxygen exchange amongst asthma sufferers, decrease coughing, increase joint mobility, stimulate the scalp to improve hair growth, increase lactation, and improve skin tone.

Today, black seed oil has seen a resurgence in sales. Once again people are seeking out black seed for its amazing tonic benefits. Numerous scientific studies have been conducted showing the benefits of organic black seed oil. For over a decade, Shea Terra Organics has been importing this oil straight from Nile-fed Egypt. Research has found Egyptian black seed oil to be the highest in beneficial compounds when compared to oils from black seeds grown elsewhere. Our high-quality, cold-pressed oil is certified organic.

This oil is pure and unrefined. It does maintain its natural aroma.

FAQ: Black Seed Oil – Benefits, Risks, and Hair Care

What does organic black seed oil do for you?

Organic black seed oil is a versatile powerhouse for health and beauty. It supports skin hydration, reduces inflammation, promotes wound healing, and may improve metabolic markers, such as blood sugar and cholesterol levels. For hair, it enhances scalp health, reduces shedding, and boosts thickness. Try Sheaterra Organics Cold-Pressed Black Seed Oil for a pure, therapeutic-grade option that’s perfect for both topical and dietary use.

What are the bad side effects of black seed oil?

While generally safe, black seed oil may cause mild digestive discomfort (e.g., nausea) when ingested or skin irritation when applied topically. Rarely, it can interact with blood thinners, diabetes medications, or blood pressure drugs. Always consult your healthcare provider before use, especially if pregnant, breastfeeding, or managing chronic conditions.

Can I rub black seed oil on my face?

Yes! Its anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties make it ideal for acne-prone or sensitive skin. Dilute Sheaterra Organics Black Seed Oil with a carrier oil like jojoba or rosehip, or blend it into your moisturizer. Pair it with our Calming Chamomile Cream to soothe redness and balance skin texture.

Who shouldn’t take black seed oil?

Avoid black seed oil if you are pregnant (it may affect uterine contractions), have bleeding disorders, or take blood thinners. Those with liver/kidney conditions or scheduled surgeries should also exercise caution.

Is it OK to take black seed oil every day?

Short-term daily use (up to 3 months) is safe for most people. For long-term use, consult a healthcare provider. Try adding Sheaterra Organics Black Seed Oil Softgels to your routine for precise dosing and convenience.

Does black seed oil grow hair?

Studies suggest it can reduce hair shedding by up to 76% and improve density by nourishing follicles. Combine Sheaterra Organics Revitalizing Hair Elixir (infused with black seed oil, rosemary, and pumpkin seed oil) with scalp massages to stimulate growth and combat thinning.

Can I leave black seed oil in my hair overnight?

Yes! Leaving it overnight enhances absorption. Apply Sheaterra Organics Nourishing Scalp Serum before bed, then rinse in the morning to avoid buildup. Its lightweight formula won’t weigh hair down.

Which oil is best for hair?

For growth and strength, try Sheaterra Organics Hair Growth Trio:

  • Black seed oil for follicle health

  • Rosemary oil to boost thickness

  • Coconut oil for deep hydration

Can black seed oil reverse grey hair?

While it can’t reverse existing grey hair, its antioxidants may slow premature greying by protecting pigment cells. Use Sheaterra Organics Anti-Oxidant Scalp Treatment to maintain melanin activity and scalp vitality.

How many times a week should I use black seed oil in my hair?

2–3 times weekly is ideal. Overuse can lead to a buildup. For a balanced routine, alternate with our Clarifying Hair Mask to keep your scalp clean and pores unclogged.

What is the number 1 thing for hair growth?

Consistency with proven treatments like minoxidil, paired with nutrient-rich care. Sheaterra Organics Hair Wellness Kit combines black seed oil, biotin supplements, and a follicle-stimulating serum for holistic results.

Amazing Quality,

You ask what I think about your product. Ok, my dad’s side of the family got off the boat at Ellis Island from Limnos Greece. My mom’s family is from Naples Italy. With that being said ..I was raised on good olive oil. I know what good oil is. Cheap olive oil is grainy, ruff and almost smells reniced. Just like the Cumin black seed oil I was consuming. Which I finally found out is NOT real Black seed oil. Did not know the difference between the two. I DO NOW... Your Black Seed Oil is what black seed oil should taste like, smooth all most majestic, smell is like a mild perfume. And taste is amazing. I know I took the long way around the block. Bottom line your product is amazing and is true 100% Black Seed Oil.
Thank You!!!!!
