One of the wonders of the ancient world, the calendula plant has been the go to plant to help heal skin affected by conditions ranging from eczema to mosquito bites. Calendula gets its soothing and regenerative powers from its high level of triterpenoid and calendic acid. The flower offers anti-spasmodic and anti-inflammatory properties. Calendula has been used for thousands of years to help calm as well as repair skin. Our rare calendula oil is pressed directly from the seeds and flowers. When you find "calendula oil" it is actually a maceration of the flowers in a base oil such as olive or almond. Sometimes the fact that a base oil is used is not stated on the label as producing a pure calendula seed oil is costly. 

For this rare and precious oil, I traveled to the Nile fed region of Egypt where fields of calendula plants grow to their prime in the basking Sahara Desert. The deep orange blossoms glow in contrast to the nutrient rich black silt soil created thousands, perhaps billions of years ago by the Nile River. One can travel for hours through nothing but sandy barren quarters of the Sahara to be greeted with flowing fields of calendula, chamomile, black seed and every imaginable green herbage. Observing the immensely fruitful fields of bright orange calendula in ancient fields of silt I had no doubt that I had found the source to create the most potent calendula oil possible.

What a beautiful land, gifted with the fertile Nile. I want to frolic in the black silt among all the calendula flowers and huff the calendula smell. This oil's smell has me mesmerized, & I love to apply it. I use it after waxing and it keeps acne from forming, as well as helps the skin heal.

- I started using this product about maybe 5 years ago because I had really bad hormonal acne that would scar whilst I was getting the acne under control I was still having scarring. This oil has significant reduced the healing time in regards to my acne and provides great moisture. I mix it with my cream based moisturizer and I get great results. This is a 10/10 for my eczema and definitely reduces the healing process on acne and scars in general. The fact this brand has been consistent for 5 years is what keeps them getting my money lol I love a brand that caters to the sensitive skin baddies!

Amazing miracle worker

I received a sample of this oil with my previous order and loved it so much that I had to order a full size bottle! I have been dealing with a skin disorder that developed after I was diagnosed with Covid a year ago, and nothing has helped since, not even prescription medication. This oil has begun to heal my skin! I use it every night over the Ghana Gold Shea Butter and I wake up with soft, smooth, nourished skin! The oil and Shea butter combo does not cause my skin to break out either. I have normal skin.
